Ben Crouse

ATTORNEY - PARTNER

I first became interested in Immigration law growing up in Indiana where I studied Spanish and worked alongside immigrants. I attended Indiana University, studying abroad in Madrid, Spain, and graduating with high distinction in 2005. After college I moved to Milwaukee where I graduated from Marquette University Law School cum laude in 2009.

Before I began practicing immigration law in Milwaukee, I volunteered with Catholic Charities Legal Services. I also clerked for the Houston Immigration Court and served as Attorney Advisor of the Chicago Immigration Court.

I have written about immigration law for the Marquette Law Review, Wisconsin Lawyer, and the Immigration Law Advisor, among other publications. I regularly speak at community events and have given dozens of presentations on immigration laws. In 2013 I was honored to be named an “Up and Coming Lawyer” by the Wisconsin Law Journal. I am a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Wisconsin State Bar, and have been admitted to practice in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. In addition to my private practice, I have served as a clinical instructor with the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Immigrant Justice Clinic since 2020.

I live in Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood with my wife and twin daughters, who show me every day how important family is.
